IWS (Intelligent water systems) RDWC (Recirculating Deep Water Culture) PRO Systems

The IWS Recirculating Deep Water Culture (RDWC) PRO system can connect up to 24 pots to a water supply unit. It's a flexible system, which delivers increased plant growth rates, increased harvest yields, accelerated nutrient uptake, and healthy root masses. You add your nutrients to the main tank and consistent circulation allows the nutrients to be properly mixed and stabilizes the pH level. A 25mm return pipe helps you minimize any risk of blockages. 

The RDWC system comes complete with a flexy tank and a brain tank which controls the filling up of each bubbler.

How it Works

Deep water culture (DWC) is a fantastic growing technique where roots are suspended in net pots over heavily oxygen infused nutrient solution in what is commonly referred to as 'bubbler'. Using deep water culture as a growing method has a long list of benefits, including rapid growth rates and increased yields. R-DWC takes the principle of DWC and improves on it by creating a current that runs through each container, maximising oxygen levels while keeping nutrients evenly mixed. Nutrients can still be drawn back to the reservoir tank in order to make adjustments.

How to Use

The system is simple to put together and use. You will find the following items useful: a sharp knife or scissors (for cutting pipe), an adjustable spanner (for tightening nuts), and a container of half-boiled water (for softening pipe, making it easier to fit onto connectors). You will also need a timer or stopwatch to find the correct flood duration once the system has been put together.

The brain pot and the pot stands need to be installed on the same surface. The surface also needs to be level otherwise the system will either under or over-fill the pots.
