Free Shipping
Free Shipping is available on orders over £90 within UK mainland only.
*Excluding heavy items.
UK Mainland excludes Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland and Channel Islands.
*Heavy item surcharge includes all media and products which have a higher volumetric weight.
Shipping costs are initially calculated by weight, however, if after packing the volumetric weight of your consignment is the higher or lower value you will be charged for the volumetric weight.
We endeavor to keep your shipping costs as low as possible. Volumetric weight of a parcel is calculated by multiplying the length, width and height of the parcel in cm and then dividing the total by 6000. This figure is the volumetric weight in Kilos.
How much do you charge for delivery?

European and International Deliveries are not available at this time through the website please email or call with your exact requirements and we may be able to assist
Do you stock all the items listed on your website?
Yes we do.
We carry a large amount of stock to ensure that you can get the items you want when you want them. In the unlikely event that your item is not in stock, you will be contacted by email or telephone to inform you when we expect to be able to fulfill your order. Goods are never out of stock for very long, but you will be given the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
What delivery companies do you use?
Inside UK: All UK deliveries are made using Parcelforce and Royal Mail.
How long will the delivery take?
We aim to dispatch all goods within 24 – 48 hours after processing with 90% of orders placed before 3pm GMT being sent the same working day but please allow a maximum of 5 working days for us to dispatch your order. If for any reason there will be a delay before dispatching your order we will inform you by email or telephone.
All orders can take up to 5 working days . (deliveries are made weekdays only)
Is it possible for me to track my order?
Our courier will email you tracking information once your parcel has been dispatched and is logged on their system. Please check your inbox.
Can you tell me what time my delivery will be made?
Standard deliveries will be made weekdays between 9am – 6pm.
What if I am not available to sign for my goods?
If you are unavailable to sign at the time of delivery your parcel will be returned to your local courier depot. A second attempt at delivery will be made the day after free of charge, if the second delivery attempt fails the goods will be returned to your local depot and you will need to contact the courier directly to arrange another delivery date which will incur a surcharge.
Can the driver telephone me before the delivery is made?
Unfortunately, the driver does not make calls prior to delivery. However they may call if they are having difficulty locating your address.
Can my goods be sent directly to my local depot for my collection?
You will need to contact the courier directly to check if they offer local depot collection.
Can I order online and collect my goods directly from your shop?
Yes, you can. If you want to beat the shop queue and make the most of our web promotions you can collect your order from our store in Paignton. Simply order online and select ‘Collect from Store’ as your delivery method. Please contact the store directly before you travel to ensure your order is ready for collection
Can I specify a day for delivery?
Unfortunately we cannot offer this service at this time
Can my goods be delivered to an address other than the Billing or Invoice Address?
Inside UK
Credit and Debit Cards: Providing your order has been placed online and your card is registered with 3-D Secure (Verified by Visa or MasterCard Secure Code), we can deliver to any address you wish. If your card is not already enrolled with this service you will be prompted to register when entering your card details. If your card does not support these services your order can only be sent to the card holders’ address.
Cheque or Postal Order: We can deliver to any address you wish.
Cash into Bank or Bank Transfer: We can deliver to any address you wish.
Telephone Orders: If paying with a credit or debit card, your order can only be sent to the card holder’s address. Goods paid for by cheque, postal order or by cash into our bank can be sent to any address you wish.
What is 3-D Secure?
3-D Secure is an XML based protocol used as an added layer of security for online credit and debit card transactions. The 3-D Secure protocol was developed by Visa to improve the security of Internet payments and offered to customers as the Verified by Visa service. Services based on the protocol have also been adopted by MasterCard , under the name MasterCard Secure Code. If your card is not already enrolled with this service you will be prompted to register when entering your card details with us.
How will my goods be packaged?
All goods will be sent in plain packaging with no senders address. Where possible we use recyclable packaging obtained from renewable sources.
RETURNS
We believe that you will be more than happy with our products and services but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. This being the case, we aim to keep the process as simple as possible and these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
We will try to attend to all returns as soon as practically possible.
Unwanted Products
• Our policy is to ensure that you are satisfied every time you place an order with Rivierahorticulture.co.uk. If you are unhappy with an item when you receive it or if you simply change your mind please return it to us within 7 days, with the dispatch note, having taken reasonable care of it and in an unused state complete with packaging and all components, and we will refund you the price you paid for that product (excluding P&P).
• We will make the refund directly to the credit/charge card used to place the original order within 30 days or earlier once we have inspected the returned item and are satisfied that it has been returned to us in the condition it was in when delivered to you.
• You will only have to pay for the return postage of the products.
• This does not affect your statutory rights.
Faulty Products
• We try to select and package the products as well as possible to ensure they arrive in good condition. However, if a product arrives damaged or with defects, or is not what you ordered, we will replace it free of charge or provide a full refund as appropriate, if you return the product to us at the postal address below within 7 days of receipt.
• In these circumstances we will also pay you the cost of the return postage. Please obtain a proof of posting certificate from your Post Office to enable us to process the refund for your return postage costs.
• For help with items later than 7 days after your initial purchase please email us for more information.
• This does not affect your statutory rights.
Returning Unwanted or Faulty Products
• Please contact us by telephone (on 01803 394487) or email (at info@rivierahorticulture.co.uk) to inform us of your wish to return products.
• We will allocate you with a Returns Code which should be included with the package to improve processing of your return.
• We will also advise you how to send the item back to us.
• You will be responsible for the returned products until they reach us.
